What Is Being Held Where
LATE BREAKING NEWS ON THE PUB CRAWL............. Due to contract (and other) problems we have a slight change to the pub crawl. We will still be doing the pub crawl, but we will not have the "party bus" company and we can not offer no cover charges anymore. We will still get the delegates to Old Town and give them an idea of which bars to visit but they will have to pay the cover charges. Also, the number of people that have sent in forms has been relatively low. After the due date on the forms we will be opening the poker and golf tournaments and the BTK conference to our local membership.
This conference will also celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Wichita Kansas Lodge 5 which was chartered in 1968. The dates for the conference are June 6th - 8th, 2008. The host lodge is offering a scholarship to one lodge that attends. The only requirement is to have not attended a state conference in the last 2 years.

Identify yourself as part of the FOP Conference. The room rate for the conference is $99.00 per night. Reservations must be made by May 5th, 2008, otherwise rooms will be subject to availability and at full price.
There are a very limited number of smoking rooms available so those that want a smoking room need to make reservations as early as possible. There are also a limited number of rooms available for Thursday night before the conference for those that may want to travel up early (the golf tournament is scheduled for Friday morning).
There are some surface lot spaces that are available, but due to construction on the Waterwalk project, may not be open at the time of the conference.
We will be sending out more information shortly on events and other details. Please make hotel reservations as soon as possible and we look forward to seeing you in Wichita.
